We've just introduced a new data connector: MongoDB! With this new integration, data administrators can effortlessly make any datasets stored on MongoDB available for analytics and AI with full security thanks to Sarus. Their existing tech stack is preserved while enhancing security measures.
How does it work?
Suppose the data administrator wants to give an analyst access to data stored on MongoDB containing sensitive transaction information. There is confidential information in the database, so it is not possible to share it as it is.
To allow the analyst to run statistical analytics or IA jobs, the data administrator just has to create a connection to MongoDB using the data connector in the Sarus User Interface. This connector relies on Atlas SQL and all data processing that can be done in SQL will be sent to the MongoDB engine for execution, benefiting from the full power of MongoDB.
Then, the analyst will be able to query remotely the database in MongoDB and build insights without seeing the raw data. The data has never moved from its location!
